When the Usual Routine Falls Apart

Elephants are usually pretty predictable: eat a bunch, drink some water, then grab four or five hours of sleep. They roll in herds too, with males and females typically sticking to their own groups. But this elephant did not get the memo, she was operating on a totally different timetable.
She wandered off from the herd and started digging a hole, not because she was hunting for water or food, just digging like she’d suddenly found her calling. And she kept at it for 11 straight hours, completely blowing past her normal nap window. Something was clearly off. This cow was tossing the elephant rulebook aside, and everyone watching was left wondering what on earth she was doing.
