Conquering the Iron Cross and Stomach Balance
The iron cross and stomach balance are impressive aerial silk moves that require dedication but offer immense satisfaction once mastered. For the iron cross, separate the silks and reach both arms through the fabric. Lean back, engage your core, and grip the silks with both thumbs facing down. Finally, extend both arms to the sides, forming a cross with the body.
Once the cross is formed, move onto the stomach balance by slowly sliding down the silks, bringing the shoulders towards the fabric—pretend your back is a bridge. To exit, slowly slide back up the silks to the Iron Cross position and re-climb.
