Return of the Jedi: A Stumble in Star Wars

In case you forgot, in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, actress Femi Taylor plays Oola, a green-skinned alien dancer that Jabba the Hut holds captive. In one scene, Jabba yanks’ Oola’s chain, quite literally, while she dances. Her stumble causes a major wardrobe malfunction, revealing much more than you’d ever expect to see in a Star Wars movie!

While the slip happens in just a matter of seconds, it ended up in the final cut of Return of the Jedi. The fact that George Lucas was a stickler for reviewing every second of Star Wars footage for home releases makes it especially bizarre that this malfunction didn’t end up on the cutting room floor!
