Pretty Woman: Magic Nightgown

Legendary actress Julia Roberts certainly understands the complexities of playing a character whose morals are significantly looser than her own. Still, since the early days of her career, Roberts has had a hard and fast rule: never appear nude on screen. While it might not have seemed appropriate for her Pretty Woman character, prostitute Vivian Ward, she remained covered throughout the movie.

While Roberts might not have shown too much skin, Pretty Woman did suffer from its fair share of wardrobe malfunctions. For instance, during Vivian’s and Edward’s first kiss, Vivian’s nightgown changes length throughout the scene. Something must have necessitated a costume switch between takes!
