Eminem and Canadian Professor Harold Innis

Many consider that Eminem’s thought-provoking and social commentary-laden lyrics a strange form of education in and of themselves. Now, fans have found the rapper’s historical doppelganger: Canadian political science professor, Harold Innis. It seems Eminem’s twin was an educator of the more traditional variety.

Believe it or not, Eminem and Innis actually do share something in common! They both are known for their strange statements. Of course, Eminem’s comments aren’t always strange, but they are often intense or controversial, at the bare minimum. Meanwhile, Innis genuinely believed that you could not understand the political history of Canada without at least having a basic knowledge of beavers.
