A Hardworking Teen From England

When the pandemic hit, 18-year-old Sebbie Hall realized that he needed to do something to cheer people up. More than that, he realized that not everyone had the technology to stay sane during the lockdown. So, at first, Sebbie wanted to donate his iPad to a friend in need. However, after talking to his mom, Ashley Hall, he came up with a new plan: help others raise the funds they so desperately needed.
That was the first step that Sebbie, who has learning difficulties and physical struggles, started to help the world. Since then, he has helped thousands upon thousands of people by performing over 2,000 acts of kindness towards random strangers. It all started with an initial challenge of raising $1,300 for charities. Now, he’s also handed out flowers, Easter eggs, teddy bears, and even free lotto tickets on the street! Along the way, he’s also helped his watering his neighbor’s plants or taking out their trashcans when they could not.
Sebbie’s acts of kindness, which have been hailed by the British Prime Minister, also include setting up both an arts hub and foundation that helps support vulnerable or disabled children. Sebbie even earned an invitation to the royal Christmas carol performance at Westminster Abbey in London in 2021 – from the Duchess of Cambridge herself!
However, the person most inspired by Sebbie’s remarkable acts of kindness? His mother!
Sebbie Hall Inspires Changes Throughout The World

According to Sebbie’s mother, Ashley, his random acts of kindness have boosted his confidence so much that he’s starting to have improved verbal communication. You see, his challenges are a result of a chromosomal alteration. “I’m immensely proud of him. I couldn’t be more proud,” Ashley said in a recent interview. “The impact of his kindness has been incredible. It’s like this lovely ripple effect going out from him. It’s fabulous. The money’s very important and he’s been able to create real change.”
“It’s like this lovely ripple effect going out from him,” Ashley continued. “It’s fabulous. The money’s very important and he’s been able to create real change. Sebbie keeps showing it’s worth keeping on striving: never give up. Everybody has potential and sometimes we can even smash that.”
Even today, Sebbie still finds it hard to put together complete sentences. However, he did manage to say, during the interview with Ashley: “It’s not about words, it’s about kindness.”
