Alice Amter is an English actress better known for her character in the Big Bang Theory and her character as Dr. Kapoor in Hot in Cleveland. Amter grew up in Handsworth before relocating to Edgbaston, Leamington Spa, and Rubery. What’s more, in Leamington Spa, Amter spent some time in a children’s home. Afterward, her German mom cared for her.

Amter has a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages and International Relations from Wolverhampton University. Furthermore, she has live in German, Japan, France, and the United States. Back in the 1990s, she decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Believe it or not, Amter has said she has no Indian ancestry!
