The SC Johnson Family – $18.2 Billion

The Johnson family is one of the richest families in the world. They are behind SC Johnson, a company that produces cleaning products like Glade, Windex, and Pledge. While the company was founded by its namesake back in 1882, Herbert Fisk Johnson eventually took over.

Unfortunately, Herbert died back in 1928, leaving no will behind. Reportedly, the family feuded over the inheritance until it was divided between his two children, Herbert Fisk Jr. and Henrietta Johnson Louis. Today, fifth-generation Herbert Fisk Johnson III is the current CEO and chairman of SC Johnson Company. As of 2019, the family was sitting on an $18.2 billion fortune!
