Just days after her surgery, Keely Favell was up and walking around, ecstatic about starting her new life without the cyst! The best part of all? The operation would have no long term effects on her. While Favell lost her right ovary during the surgery, the doctors informed her she would still be able to bear children, should she choose. Meanwhile, when her family saw her, they could not believe their eyes! “The shock on my family’s faces said it all; I was literally half the woman I was going down,” Favell said.

Today, Favell enjoys a happy, healthy life. However, she will certainly never forget the time when she almost lost everything to a 60-pound cyst!
