Duck Dynasty – Fake

Of all the classic reality TV shows, Duck Dynasty always felt the most honest. In fact, they prided themselves on it! In case you forgot, the show followed the Robertson family, a wealthy family due to their best-selling duck call. The bearded family always told it straight – or did they?

While Duck Dynasty was not precisely fake, it’s far from the truth. According to the family themselves, “guided reality” might be a better word to describe the show. That means that the producers encouraged the family to get into positions that they never would in real life, just to film their reactions. While it was far from the truth, Duck Dynasty was certainly great television! Sadly, the show ended in 2017.
