Robin Thicke and Paula Patton

In case you didn’t know, singer Robin Thicke, the man behind the hit “Blurred Lines,” also stayed with his high school sweetheart, Paula Patton, for quite some time. Thicke told Essence back in 2011 that their romance began when they were just a couple of 16-years-old. Back then, Patton “was the president of the Black student union and Thicke was just a silly White boy.”

From 1993 to 2014, just over two decades, Thicke and Patton enjoyed each other’s company and even welcomed a son, Julian, in 2010. However, in 2014, after nine years of marriage, the two separated, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
