Anthony Mackie and Sheletta Chapital

Most know actor Anthony Mackie for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But few know that Mackie and his wife, Sheletta Capital, have known each other since they were seven-years-old. While they dated for some time, it took Mackie and Capital until 2014 to tie the knot, which they did at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana.

Mackie recently told the story of the couple meeting to Queen Latifah: “It was funny. I was coming from a very bad school and going to a very good school. And when I walked into second grade it was Dr. Seuss Day, and we had the little hot plate out and the teacher was making green eggs and ham. So I walk in and I looked and I see this little girl with these ratty pigtails and skinny legs, and I was like, ‘Wow!'”
