It still saddens fans that supermodel Kate Moss and Johnny Depp never managed to make their relationship work. After a terrible breakup with actress Winona Ryder, Depp moved onto Moss, and the two seemed perfect for one another. They even engaged in 1990! Sadly, by 1998 the two had called it off and broke up.

Why would such a power couple break up? Well, Depp had admitted it’s all his fault. “We had so much going for our relationship. I’m the one who has to take responsibility for what happened,” the actor told Hello! Magazine. “I was difficult to get on with, I let my work get in the way, and I didn’t give her the attention I should have.”
