Gangs of New York: Firefighters’ Uniforms

Gangs of New York tells the stories of the gangs from New York. It features a lot of famous actors including Cameron Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio, and David Day-Lewis, and was directed by the one and only Martin Scorsese, which gives the film quite a lot of credibility. However, there was a major wardrobe malfunction in the film: the uniforms.

The movie is set in the 19th century and follows the stories of the different New York gangs at the time, as you can probably guess by the name. In one scene you can see one of the firefighters wearing modern uniforms, which makes no sense considering how firefighters were dressed during that specific time period.
