Amadeus: Zippers Didn’t Exist

As you can imagine, Amadeus obviously talks about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one of the greatest musicians and composers that ever lived. The period film from 1984 chronicles the biography of Mozart who was alive and active during the 18^th century. And while the story is quite accurate, there were some wardrobe malfunctions.

However, if you pay close attention to the cast, you can see the dancers wearing clothes that have zippers underneath the buttons, which is actually a bit awkward since zippers were not invented until 1913. In fact, zippers only gained popularity about a hundred years after Mozart had already passed away.
