Good Night and Good Luck: Nametags

Good Night and Good Luck depicts the conflict between a Senator and a TV journalist during the 1950s. the film, directed by George Clooney and starring Robert Downey Jr., is critically acclaimed because of its focus on media responsibility and what happens when the media and the government conflict with each other. However, there wasn’t luck on the costume side.
Unfortunately, the costume department made a colossal wardrobe malfunction. You see, the film is set in the 50s and the officers that are featured in the film were seen wearing nametags, yet name tags were not worn by army personnel until 1967.
