More Tourism Than Ever

Previously, some locals had wondered if bringing the army in and draining the Falls, even if for a few days, would have a negative effect on tourism. It turned out quite the opposite was true! People really wanted to see what a drained Niagara Falls looked like. They also wanted to see man’s ability to conquer Mother Nature, in the face of everything!

After the team put the dam up in Niagara River, the Falls received over 100,000 tourists in the time that they remained dry. In fact, the event had effects on the Falls that many still feel today…
