Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999)

The Phantom Menace was a reboot of the Star Was franchise that came out in 1999. As with franchise reboots in general during the past few years we have been able to see a change in the style and tone of the movies. With The Phantom Menace we saw a sort of more humorous move, while the first ones had a bit more serious and adventurous tone.

This different tone can for example be seen in a few of these Easter eggs the movie includes. In one scene we can see a few beings which look just like the classic alien E.T. from the movie with the same name. Now, let’s leave E.T. for now and make a call to another movie, a cartoon actually with a little bit more oomph.
