After All These Years

Opening the envelope, Stephen Strawn saw the name of his biological mother: Stacey Faix. Finally, with the name in hand, the 37-year-old finally had a decent chance of tracking his mother down. And, as many of us would, he immediately went to the greatest directory in the world, Facebook.

After just a few minutes of searching, Strawn found Faix. After taking a deep breath, the adopted man sent her a very straightforward message: “Hey, I have a really weird question. Did you put a baby boy up for adoption in 1982?” Just seconds later, Strawn saw the three small dots appear, meaning Faix was writing back a reply. He could barely contain his excitement, hoping he had finally found his mother after all these years!
