Within days, Faix’s son was whisked away from her to a new family, never to see his mother again. As you might imagine, the young mother grew up always wondering what had become of her son. While it pained her not to know what had happened with him, Faix understood that she would need to wait a long time before she ever saw him again – if she ever did.

So, Faix kept her head down and focused on school. Before she knew it, her high school graduation came and went. Then, in the blink of an eye, Faix was graduating from college. All of a sudden, she found herself out from her parents’ thumbs and a free woman in the world. And, as an adult, Faix already knew what she wanted to do: track down her long lost son.
