Long-Buried Secrets

While Stacey Faix looked like the ideal woman on the outside, few knew of the heartbreak that she had hidden down deep inside her younger years. Believe it or not, at just 15-years-old, Faix had a baby boy. While these days, unfortunately, teenage pregnancies are more common, at the time, they were unheard of. As such, her parents demanded that Faix give up her firstborn son for adoption.

Horribly, the young mother had to follow her parents’ commands, no matter what she wanted inside. Faix’ mother and father even managed to convince her doctor to go along with it! “They didn’t want me to hold him. They didn’t recommend it,” Faix explained to Pittsburg news station WTAE.
