Diana Rigg – Rachael Stirling

When you’re the only child of two of the entertainment industry’s most respected members, it is only natural that you would choose a profession in the same arena. Rachael Stirling followed her beautiful and talented mother’s creative legacy by foraying into acting.
Though she started in the theater with coveted Shakespearean roles, the budding actress soon bagged her first significant TV role alongside her mother. This duo went on to star in a ‘Doctor Who’ episode, in parts specially written for them, a rare occurrence even today. Though Diana is no longer with us, we hope Rachael will continue to build on her mother’s indelible legacy in the dramatic arts.
