Dynamic Star Sweep for Aerial Silk Artists

The star sweep is a dynamic aerial silk move that combines strength and flexibility. Start by climbing the silks and performing a single footlock on one strand. Bring the other strand across the body and under the armpit on the same side as the locked leg. Wrap a hand around the fabric at hip level and lean into it.

Now, thread the upper arm through the fabric, grasping it firmly. Engage your core and slowly release the footlock, allowing yourself to fall gracefully down the silks in a controlled descent. While descending, keep the legs and arms extended outwards to create a beautiful star shape.
