At 17-years-old, Alves elected to have his first surgery, downsizing his breasts. No one had a problem with this, as they saw it as Alves taking care of his hormone dysfunction. Still, no one could have predicted that he would become obsessed with surgery. But, over the decade, Alves would slowly become the first “human Ken doll.”

In 2018, The Mirror interviewed Alves about his procedures. In the interview, he admitted to undergoing 60 invasive surgeries, “including ten nose jobs, a butt lift, silicone peck implants, eight-pack implants and various hair implants.” Alves also said he’s had over 1,000 non-invasive procedures, like Botex and fillers.
