Submarine Sedan: When Cars Take the Plunge
This photo gives us a bizarre sight: a car submerged in water, with a boat idly floating behind it as if questioning the car’s adventurous turn. Can cars still operate underwater? The short answer is no. Cars are not designed to work in water, especially when submerged. Water might wreak havoc on the engine, electrical system, and interior in minutes, leading to potentially irreparable damage.
While most vehicles are landbound, some are made for both terrains! Regular cars making an unintended dive are facing a one-way trip to the mechanic or junkyard, often turning what looks like a nautical adventure into a soggy misadventure.
