Flamingo Flock Fiesta
Lake Logipi in Kenya’s Suguta Valley just got a pink makeover courtesy of this massive flamingo flock! From above, the flamingos create a stunning pink trail against the deep blue water, making it look like nature’s own abstract painting.
These flamingos gather here in droves to feast on the lake’s algae, a dietary staple that also gives them their iconic rosy color. Lake Logipi, a shallow saline lake, provides the perfect pit stop for these birds during their migration. They fly in, grab a snack, and add a splash of color to the landscape. It’s not just a flock—it’s a flamingo parade.
