Millions of Dollars Wasted

Believe it or not, it is as simple as it sounds. After the way, the Navy loaded the vehicles onto an aircraft carrier and, using forklifts, pushed them into the ocean. The coral-covered metal heap is now called Million Dollar Point, for the impressive amount of waste that resulted from the act. However, most still call the location the “Airplane Graveyard.”

Like many others, Mueller certainly felt annoyed by the level of waste at the site. The government could have at least converted them into scrap metal! They could have even gifted them to the Marshall Islands, which remains one of the most impoverished areas in the world. Unfortunately, that’s not the way history went…
