As Tony explained, one of the many problems with Raymond J. Fisher Middle School’s dress code is its incompatibility with the seasons. The rules only allowed female students to wear clothes that would work in mild or cold conditions. However, especially in California, spring and summer can grow incredibly hot. So, Tony knew that there needed to be some leniency.
