John Daly, Golfer – Gambling Debts
Even if you’re not a golf fan, you probably still know pro golfer John Daly thanks to his successful career and wild clothing choices. For decades, Daly remained a household name and made quite a fortune while playing golf. However, he was also known for rapidly spending those paychecks. In a recent interview, Daly talked about his financial hurdles and the vices he dealt with, one of which was gambling.
Putting it bluntly, Daly said that he had gambled and lost more than most golfers make in their entire careers! Over the years, the golfer estimated that he lost about $98 million while he only earned about $45 million.
