Back to the Forest
As the years progressed, Emma made more and more progress. Plucas then decided it was time to reintroduce her to the forest. At first, the farmer would take Emma out for short walks, teaching her what was safe and what wasn’t – just like a parent would! Plucas sincerely hoped the growing moose would learn how to survive and live in the wild.
In the beginning, Emma clearly felt terrified of the forest. However, Plucas slowly made her feel safe. Over time, she followed him deeper into the woods, and he even taught her how to search for food. Of course, Plucas’ ultimate goal was for Emma to learn how to fend for herself in the wild, just like any other moose. But, would she make it in the wild?
