American Idol – Fake

Today, American Idol remains one of the most popular and famous reality shows ever. It kicked off the current trend of singing competition shows, following a group of would-be stars until only one remains. Along the way, the show has produced some fantastic stars, including Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.

Once again, while the American Idol audition process might seem straightforward, many have claimed that producers do extensive scouting for the show. Even worse, many former singers who have auditioned have claimed they have witnessed producers “going through the lines sending people home based on appearances.” Yikes! We hope that’s not true!
