Seven Days Later
Just seven days into their wonderful trip, Ashcraft and Sharp received a piece of unexpected news. You see, they were notified of a tropical depression forming off Central America. For those who do not know, a tropical depression is the lowest category of hurricane. However, winds can still reach 37 mph!
Unfortunately, the depression lay right in the couple’s path to San Diego. So, with no other options, Ashcraft and Sharp decided to reroute north with the hopes of missing the storm. Hopefully, they would be able to skip the storm and make it sound and safe to the San Diego shore!
