Rita’s Birth Certificate

As it would turn out, recovering Alvera Rita’s birth certificate would prove to be the most challenging part of Lukasik’s journey.  After all, since Rita remained alive, she was the only one who could legally request her birth certificate. However, Lukasik had already figured out an excellent plan to see the document without arousing suspicion.

Incredibly, Lukasik set her plan in motion by calling the State of Louisiana and impersonating her mother. We do not recommend this method! On the phone, she asked them to reissue another birth certificate, claiming she had lost the original during a move. The office approved the request, and Lukasik found herself one step closer to the truth…
