Basic Instinct (1992) – Don’t Cross Her!

Today, Basic Instinct remains one of the most beloved modern crime movies ever. After all, it catapulted actress Sharon Stone to stardom. For those who have never seen it before, the movie tells the story of a woman who may or might not have have murdered a wealthy rock star.

During one of the most intense scenes in the movie, an interrogation between Stone’s character and the police, she crosses her legs. That one move made cinema history! However, even more interesting, Stone claims that the director and editor said they would take the cut out, but never did. As such, after its release on home video, the scene became one of the most paused moments in movie history.
