Going Their Separate Ways

During their marriage, Mason and Kate had three boys together: Will, the eldest, and then, two years later, twins Ed and Joel. When Will turned 21-years-old, and the twins were 19, Mason and Kate made a decision that would alter their lives forever. You see, the couple agreed that their marriage was no longer working, and they went their separate ways.

While no longer in love, Mason and Kate remained close after their separation in 2008, agreeing it was best for everyone involved. At least, that’s what Kate said initially. However, Richard Mason had no idea she would soon go back on her word to remain civil during the separation proceedings!
