Oprah Winfrey is not just a media mogul, it turns out she knows quite a bit about real estate as well! When she purchased her celebrity mansion in 2001, it cost her $50 million. However, according to the most recent tax assessment, her 23,000-square-foot mansion is now worth around $90 million. That’s almost double what Oprah paid for it!

Oprah’s celebrity mansion is so fantastic that she even gave it a name: “The Promised Land.” Initially built in 1912, Oprah’s Neo-Georgian style home features six bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, as well as a gourmet kitchen, a wine cellar, a movie theater, and ten fireplaces.
