When Duty Calls

Immediately, the firefighters rushed to answer the call. According to the 911 call, a woman had explained that she was experiencing severe pain in her abdomen. To make matters worse, the woman said that the pain continued getting worse every minute, and she could not drive herself to the hospital. So, with no time to waste, Hadden bolted to the scene with his crew to see what they could do.

Even though the woman’s situation required paramedic attention, all emergency personnel are required to help anyone in need. After all, police and firefighters both recieve basic paramedic training. Often, if they arrive first, they can greatly improve the situation before the paramedics arrive!
