There’s no question about it, Renée Zellweger and Kenny Chesney certainly raised quite a lot of eyebrows when they married on a Caribbean island in 2005, the same year they met. After all, what were an A-list actress and country star doing together?

It seems the tabloids may have had a point, as Zellweger and Chesney decided to split only four months later. While the actress used the word “fraud” in her separation papers, Chesney said, “The only fraud that was committed was me thinking that I knew what it was like… that I really understood what it was like to be married, and I really didn’t.”
