Of course, almost everyone knows of the famous marriage of Cher and Sonny Bono. However, fewer know that the famed singer was also once married to iconic guitarist Gregg Allman. After a whirlwind romance, the two married in 1975. However, it did not take long for the honeymoon phase to end. According to Cher herself, she felt distraught at the discovery of just how much Allman used narcotics. As such, the marriage only lasted nine days!
Today, Cher remains one of music’s biggest bachelorettes, a title she’s claimed for many years. Sadly, Allman passed away in 2017, just a few months after marrying his longtime girlfriend, Shannon Williams.
