Halle Berry and David Justice

In case you totally forgot, the first time actress Halle Berry decided to tie the knot with someone, it was with David Justice, the famous baseball player. They married in 1993, divorcing shortly later in 1997, due to rumors plaguing their relationship. Most horrendously, whispers of abuse haunted the two. Many decades later, when Berry said that she had been in “abusive relationships,” it did not help Justice’s case.

However, very recently, Berry confirmed it was not Justice who hurt her. “For so many years, there has been this cloud upon the guys who were associated with Halle back then,” Justice told People Magazine afterward. “Halle has said that she was in abusive relationships but she didn’t name who the abuser was, so for many years I know a lot of people thought it was me.” Thankfully, that’s no longer the case!
