Sharon Stone and Phil Bronstein

For those who don’t know, Phil Bronstein is one of America’s top journalists, having worked for the likes of the San Francisco Examiner and San Francisco Chronicle. However, he’s most famous to most for another reason: he was married to actress Sharon Stone from 1998 to 2004. That’s right!

The two met when Stone worked on the film Sphere, on which Bronstein worked as a consultant, and married just a few years later at an impromptu wedding. Sadly, the relationship quickly fell apart due to the couple’s inability to conceive. Even adopting a son, Roan, could not help the couple, and Bronstein and Stone had a very public separation in 2004.
