All the Right Moves: The Wrong Move

In 1983, actor Tom Cruise had yet to become a household name. At the time, the 21-year-old had just landed the role of Serbian-American high school student and aspiring college football player Stefen “Stef” Djordjevic in the sports drama, All the Right Moves. He made some brave choices for the movie, like a steamy scene with Lea Thompson, who played his on-screen girlfriend, Lisa.
But, Cruise clearly made the wrong move while filming the scene, as he goes full-frontal for a few seconds. While this likely would have resulted in an NC-17 rating, it must have slipped by the censors, as All the Right Moves was released with an R rating and the scene intact.
