Troy: The Umbrella

As you might imagine, Troy is based on the Trojan War. In a scene where Orland Bloom and Diane Kruger’s travel down a Greek street, everything looks perfect. From Bloom’s armor to Kruger’s dress, it all looks period-appropriate. However, there’s one item in the scene that’s entirely out of place: the umbrella. That’s right!
You see, parasols were not even invented until roughly 800 years after Greece conquered Troy. So, it really makes no sense to have it in this scene. Unless, of course, there is a time traveler in the movie that we don’t know of!
