When Broc Brown’s family first learn about his rare condition, they didn’t really know much about it. In fact, it was the first time that they had ever heard of Sotos Syndrome. In the beginning, Elliot just figured that it meant her son would grow faster than other children in his class. Unfortunately, she soon learned there are some other effects of cerebral gigantism.

You see, Brown’s medical team told his family that he would not likely live past his teenage years. Even worse, given there aren’t any treatment options for Sotos Syndrome, there was little they could do.
