Ron Howard and Cheryl Alley – 45 Years Together
While many know Ron Howard from his decades in Hollywood, few know that he’s also involved in one of Tinseltown’s greatest love stories. After his big breakthrough role on the Andy Griffith Show, Howard wanted to take some time and be a typical teenager. So, he decided to go to John Burroughs High School, a public high school. There, he met the woman who one day would become his wife, Cheryl Alley.
The two high school sweethearts tied the knot in 1975 when Howard was just 21-years-old. While Howard continues to be one of the biggest names in Hollywood, Alley works as an author, primarily of children’s books. Here a fun fact: Alley has actually appeared in a few of Howard’s films, including his ’80s hit, Splash.
