Bernie Kosar, Cleveland Browns – Unpaid Taxes and Debt

Bernie Kosar rose to fame after playing quarterback for the Cleveland Browns for almost a decade. After his time in the Browns, the NFL star went to briefly play with the Cowboys and the Dolphins before finally deciding to enter retirement in 1996.
After his retirement, Kosar pursued a wide range of several different business ventures that never paid off in the long term. As such, just a decade after he stopped playing football, Kosar filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, with a whopping $19 million in debt and unpaid taxes. Therefore, some of his estates were foreclosed or seized by the government. Hey, we hope we can recover from this financial situation!
