Deuce McAllister, New Orleans Saints – Bad Investments and Debt

Deuce McAllister was on his way to becoming one of the Saints’ most valuable players of all time. During his years with the Saints, the NFL star managed to make millions upon millions. However, just like so many other athletes, McAllister made some serious bad investments that led to his financial ruin.

As a result, McAllister’s mansion was seized by the St. Charles Parish Sherriff’s Office and was auctioned off. Furthermore, the bank that held his mortgage, Whitney National Bank, sued him, claiming that he owned $1.8 million on the mortgage. Making matters even worse, McAllister also lost a Nissan dealership in Jackson, Mississippi that he bought, his only real source income. Since then, McAllister has not managed to recover!
