Evander Holyfield, Boxer – Child Support and Debt

Most of you probably know Evander Holyfield for one of two reasons. Either as one of the greatest boxers in history or as the man who has his ear bitten off by Mike Tyson. In his heyday, Holyfield earned millions upon millions. However, just like many broke athletes, the former boxer began experiencing financial hurdles, the first being child support issues. Sadly, that later turned into a significant downward spiral for Holyfield.

In the end, Holyfield was forced to auction his mansion, seen above, for $7.5 million. Believe it or not, this was just a small portion of what he owed to the bank! In fact, he owned more than twice as much in back taxes! To make matters worse, his financial situation became public, with the world watching as Holyfield sold off all of his possessions, one by one!
