Adele and Angelo Adkins

Didn’t know that famed British singer Adele is a mom? Well, there’s a good reason for that – she likes to keep it under wraps! In fact, the singer has never even confirmed the birthday of her son, Angelo Adkins, and she didn’t even confirm his name until two years after his birth in 2012. That’s right! Even today, when she rarely discusses him in interviews, Adele still refers to him as simple “Peanut.”

Why all the secrecy? Well, Adele wants to keep her private life just that – private! After paparazzi snapped pictures of Angelo’s birthday party, Adele’s lawyer commented on the lack of privacy for stars: “It is a matter of profound sadness that many of his milestone moments, such as his first family outing and his first trip to playgroup, were photographed and published worldwide expressly against his family’s wishes.” Ouch!
