Audrey Hepburn and Luca Dotti

While Audrey Hepburn might have been more in Belgium and died in Switzerland, she is still, without a doubt, one of the greatest and most famous British actresses of all time. Although she tragically passed away at the age of just 63, Hepburn managed to make an everlasting mark on Hollywood thanks to roles in movies like Gigi, Sabrina, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and My Fair Lady, among many others.

These days, Hepburn’s 51-year-old son, author Luca Dotti, keeps a much lower profile than his mother did. In fact, he doesn’t even think of her as a movie star! “To me, my mother was Audrey Dotti. I never realized she was Audrey Hepburn. I didn’t know she was a movie star,” he explained recently. “She always looked at my father like he was the center of attention. She was a simple country girl.”
